Annick McKenzie is a French born contemporary Artist with a passion for colour.
She draws her inspiration from the South of France and Buckinghamshire where she lives.
Colour plays a key role in her approach to painting and her work is about the wonder and energy of life.
Her sense of colour is instinctive and her work is about an emotional ‘coup de coeur’ to places and an expression of feeling.
It is an exciting journey from colour sketches drawn in ‘plein air’ and photographs to the finished paintings in her studio.

Her aim is to create an atmosphere of well being which in turn enables people to feel inspired and happier.
‘Painting gives me a way to inspire people to make positive changes in their lives. It is why I paint.’

She has exhibited widely throughout the UK and New York.
She does commission work and has produced artworks for companies such as  Starbucks Coffee Company and Adrian Moorhouse’s Lane 4   .
