Artist Statement
My interest is concerned with people and situations specifically regarding the subject of human behaviour focusing on the concept of personal space and body language.

I favour anonymity in the characters attempting to capture the essence through form and suggestion. The psychology of painting also interests me and I imply a narrative within the relationship between the figures rather than just the configuration itself.

My paintings and drawings are taken from general observation and my intention is for the work to make a statement about human behaviour and the reaction and interaction to situations both conscious and unconscious in today’s environment.
